This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time now and finally the day is almost here. Tomorrow, Hot Rider and I are going to a nearby city and we are going to get new ink. For me, this will be my 4th tattoo and it will be her second.
I have made the decision that my whole left arm will be an HOMAGE to Harley Davidson. and will be an entire sleeve when I am done. All of the work done on my left arm will be done in black and gray work. NO COLOR!!! The colored tattoo's will be strictly for my right arm
Anyways, I thought that it would be fun if we could share our tattoos with each other if you wish. I am always interested in other peoples ink and the stories behind them if they so choose to share that information. (Sometimes the reasons are really personal). I figured that I...

Just when I think everything is going to be alright for awhile . . .
. Yesterday about a quarter mile from home I hear this sound like the piston tapping a valve? Or? Let off on the throttle and it stopped. Pulling into the yard and it started again for a few seconds and stopped. Sounds like metal hitting metal in the front cylinder, up high. Motor runs okay most of the time.
Phoned Tattoo and he said check the (solid) lifters and make sure nothing came loose. I checked all of them and one of the front ones was only very slightly tight. Started the ol' sled up and the sound was still there after revving her up in neutral.
That's where things stand right now. Gotta love 'em.

Don't know if he was caught but my gun would have been pulled the minute he got out of the car.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time but just haven't gotten to it. Right now I have some thinly sliced top round marinating in a cracked pepper and garlic marinade. Unfortunately I am going to have to do this batch, (the test batch) in a food dehydrator. I am pretty sure that it will come out good but I would like to do that on my smoker and laying some smoke on it. Kind of excited to taste how it turns out.
