Tattoo and a few buddies and I are going for a ride there and back this afternoon. I forgot the name of the club hosting the party. Should be food, libations and a live band. It's gonna be a nice day for a putt, sunny and mid 80s and about a hundred miles round trip. Country roads all the way. Looking forward to burning some gas with my buds . . .
I typically log a couple hundred miles a week riding by myself - lots of short trips add up - but no really long trips anymore like some of you guys

After seeing a friend of mine at Sturgis with a broken tour pack lid because his tether broke causing the lid to flop over and break off at the lid and the lid falling off.
His top lid was broken clear across the lid leaving the hinges partially attached to the bottom section. We had to bunggie the lid down. I decided to purchase the solid lid tether. Won't break off causing this. His lid with one color cost him over 400.00 to replace.
