Hello, I am in need of some ideas on what could have happend. The wife and I took a ride for alittle over 100 miles, 89 Heritage running great, cranking good, started to head back I hit the starter, just clicked, checked lights just fine. Got some other bikers to push me off and it fired right up, I went about 10 miles and had to get gas, left it running, Put it in neutral, light was very bright, went 2 more miles I no longer had any lights all were blown. Stopped at a gas station and it idled for just a minute then it just shut down, I could just barely could see the neutral light. My HD battery is just 3 months old. So what I have now is one very fried ECM, a battery that is completely dead,(won't charge at all on battery charger) and every light on the bike is history. So does anyone...

We had discussed this about a year ago on the forum here, and I've decided to try it out. I have two options for operating the foot clutch - suicide or rocker style. I'd like to try going with the rocker style, but not sure if it can be retro fitted to an FXST forward control. Will also post on the shovelhead forum about this.
Would also be looking to buy a used rocker style clutch if anyone might have one . . .

this happened on my old lady's 2000 softail std' pulled up to the bar on bike night and she could'nt roll her bike back, I jumped off mine and got it to move but with a lot of resistance, seemed like the brakes locked up, after about 10 min it was fine, pads seemed alittle thin was thinkin the piston was stickin, so changed the pads everything seemed to be moving around properly, took it for a test ride and the samething happened, now she all pissed cuz she got to ride bitch on mine, any ideas?
