:witsend:Riding down Hwy 20 well east of Marysville, CA, my friggin' end cap on my Vance & Hines Pro Pipe decided to defect and jumped off into a ravine, with the baffle cone joining it right after. So I ordered the parts, but only the end cap was in stock. I need to get more reversion, and am looking for ideas.

Anyone got a tested alternative? Can't stay off her until July 11th (backorder date), but she hates the low RPMs BAD! I've heard about a few things, but I'd rather try something that someone else has personally tried, rather than only heard about.

2012 flhtci w/ pc V 2 weeks ago cut a few times. road it and it seemed to drag between 2-3 grand. well a week later it cut out again. took it to the dealer who set it up did the work originally. while there the dude in front of me sez u guys didn't fix it it still does it. so i give the tech my info and return 2 days later n the techsez the pc lost the map and between 2-3 grand it was runnin too lean. so they call pc n were give n anew n improve map to correct the prob. the tech tell me yea the guy who was b4 u had the same prob only his flooded in that rpm range. ok good as new the tech sez so drove 5 miles n the thing cut out 4 times. so the patch work didn't work, told the tech new n improved yea u r half right. wel i find it hard to believe 2 folks show up w/ the same prob. any feed...

how difficult to relocate the horn to the inside of the fairing? I like the cleaner look on that side of the motor

thinking of changing to new mufflers from slash cut V &H . anyone REALLY HAPPY with their pipes? also running S&S 551 gear drive cams and Thundermax tuner.The wife will give me another shot at new pipes so gotta be right

Am planning a road trip, touring in Greece, so I took the bike up to my local dealership in Izmir for a quick once over. I had pretty much nailed down what issues I was aware of, which is fork seals are going, and a very minor oil leak. They checked over everything, had the bike up on a stand for over an hour, and pretty much confirmed what I knew, adding nothing I had missed, which was the real point of the exercise. They also adjusted the brakes slightly, topped up fluids, and we agreed they would order in the fork seals for when I get back. And the best part.... When I asked how much this work cost, they said, "No, no money". Impressed.
