I've been off this board for a while, but I just wrote a really short story that made me think of Bike Talk. I'm sure you can appreciate it. Shoot, I've probably been gone over a year, now that I think about it. Just got back from another trip around the country on Hot01. She's pushing 150,000 miles, so I'm going to let her get some rest. Going to Jim's H-D in Ohio next week to pick up an '09 Road Glide.

So, Saturday one of the best riding days we have had in 2 months. I had signed up for CCW class, so I did not ride, class 8am to 4pm. Then planned all day ride with Chapter today to hit several HD dealerships and some good back roads. Went to garage at 10am .... FLAT TIRE...

Could not find anything but leak at valve stem... makes no sense, just rode to work on Friday, then to bike night... and checked air that morning because had not checked in couple weeks...all was cool...

Chit happens... but I am not happy.... :gah:

The Lord was watching out for us yesterday...Almost did not have time to react it happened so fast...Chit!!! Happened about 5 miles from home on a back road at the end of a long ride...Lucky us...

Today was a great day for the Kids we had a ride for the CCA starting at Randall Children's Hospital. Some of the kids were out and to see those poor kids is heartbreaking. We raised 30,000 today, not bad for one day. The kids are worth it.

First pic is of the owner of our Harley Dealership he is one the right and his wife is on the left. Great people and a super dealer owner.

The Cup cakes by the way were jelly filled and really good.
We rode to several locations raising money. Great day and Harley riders are great people. I love these kind of days. Oh yea, I just had to get a pic of my bike in there.
