Hey guys,
I recently framed my 15' 500exc and have only just reassembled the bike. With everything loosely fitted I tried firing it up but no luck. After a brief inspection I saw that I didn't attach the lead to the throttle-body- plugged it in and it started first go.
I then fitted the tank, seat and plastics on properly, but now when I press the ignition I just hear a single click from under the seat (relay ?)
Failing that I started it with the kickstarter and it fired up fine. About 1 minute into the trip the fuel light came on And it began to stall when I gave it any throttle at all- though it seems content to idle very weakly.
I began to think it's due to the fuel pump, but when I check the throttle body side hose it's oozing with fuel, so fuel seems to be getting through to...

I have a 98 suzuki katana 600. It is oil cooled and air cooled, rather than having a reservoir for coolant. On the gauge cluster it shows the rpm's, mph, and the amount of gas in the tank. A light will come on if it overheats but I would like to add an engine temp gauge somewhere on the dash to prevent that from happening. I'm not sure where to buy one, or how to install it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Old and forgetful strikes again.
All in all still made a day of it. No venders at fun spot this year. Tons of venders at the race track and on the side of Laconia HD by Harts Turkey farm/restaurant. Wasn't waiting in the long line to get to Weirs Beach.
Seen a bagger with like a 35" front wheel. S&S vendor had a nice knuckle, pan, shovel, twinky and some other special v twin motors on display. Lots of free swag every where. Water bottles, sun glasses, pins, patchs and stickers....

Well, there has been a lot of stuff going on in my life in the last couple of years, one of them being is I have started my own business. The business is kind of bike related, but not entirely. In some dealing with my business, I made a friend through a mutual friend and he purchased his first Harley. A 2000 Road King. In some business negotiations, my new friend asked me to go through his bike and fix whatever needs to be fixed. I agreed.
So, like I did with my engine project, I am going to document the servicing of this bike with pictures and commentary and offer some insights from this project. I hope you all enjoy it and participate in the thread.
For starters, here is a pic of his bike. A 2000 Road King
