I live on a dirt road in the middle of no where and with minimum to no neighbors.

About 4am the dog starts barking like somebody is out there but she's part beagle and can hear a skunk fart so I'm not worried about it.

Wife gets out of bed, looks out the window doesn't see nothing but thinks she hears a car idling.

I get up look out the bedroom window, don't see nothing so I go to the bathroom window on the other side of the house and look out. When I do someone flash's there car lights at me. Weird.

So I grab my .45 Colt, put on some pants jump in my truck with the high beams on facing the car and pull up next to the car and ask what's going on?

The young kid in the beater POS car states he's just bagging some weed. I said he was making my dog nuts and he needed to move on to...

I just rode the bike the day before 150 miles on new years day. Ran great except for a little miss firing after we stoped for lunch and headed home. Then streight end out after about an eighth of a mile. I thought that was odd. But ran great the 75 miles home.
The next day I tried to start the bike. It would usually fire and start on the first revaluation. But it just cranked over at a good pace but no fire. I pulled the rear plug and cranked over to check for spark (no spark). I checked the start relay and the system relay and they tested good.
So now I'm a thinking voltage regulator or stator. Any help would be very appreciated. George
