Tonight I had a really good conversation with a guy that I have known for a little while but just started riding with him. Tonight he had mentioned that he was looking for more in the performance aspect of riding. Of course, when I hear the word "performance,' I get real excited. As we were talking I couldn't help but thinking to myself, "this guy isn't that familiar with the performance realm." It reminded me a lot of me when I first joined Bike Talk. So, as a good friend, I made suggestions, just giving him some information.

I have learned so much from this site (and others) that I am just not sure where I would be if I had never joined any of them. I continue to learn.

I thought that this would be an interesting thread because I think it to be important to reflect from time to...

OK. I've gained 4 pounds so far. Not bad for all the grub I've eaten since turkey day. Still more left overs and pumpkin pie to finish off.

Going to look into tranny on my Road King. When driving aggresivly , not boar shifting, just higher rpm I have missed 3rd lately. When I hit the shifter again it goe's to 4th. Tranny is quiet and shifts well on normal use. Cluth adjustment is good, easy to find neutral doe's not chunk going from neutral. Shift arm is tight, Going to pull top cover and take a peak soon. Found S/E 6 speed gearset new for 1,700 online, might be a possible end result. Any input on what to look for on repair or replace is appreciated.

I thought this was really good...I would love to be able to do something like this...I can't even do stick figures...
