My 2011 street glide normal rear tire size is 180 *55*16. I am trying a 200 * 55 * 17. I am getting sway at speeds 85 mph and above. I race the bike street and sometime at the track. Any wisdom on reducing to 190 * 55 * 17 or better yet, reducing to 180 *55 * 17. I am curious if splitting the difference between 180 & 200 might eliminate the sway?

My stock 2006 Harley battery finally died after 10 years.
, so I bought an aftermarket 600 ccA battery for it. It got banged up when shipped to me a little, it is just cosmetic,(I think), but I called the company about it anyway. They said to put a load tester on it, I did, and it passed, so I decided to use it after talking to the manufacturer on the phone about it and he said there is a warranty on it, they would make note of the damage, and at any time I could return it. I received the battery a week ago. Well twice I've had to jump the bike after it would sit overnight. The first time, I jumped it,(with my battery charger), and it started right up, this time I decided to let it sit 2 days and tried to start it, The lights came on but would only click once and lights dim when I...

Ok so here is a before and after (stupidity) photo.
My Wide Glide was looking pretty fair, but needed new tires so I thought I would take the time to make some minor changes. Like the sliders were pitted (clear coat), small crap like that that happens on a 13 year old scooter right.
Second photo what I walked out to Saturday morning. I got home about midnight Friday night and all was good. Even went down on lower porch to check it out. Yup all good. 6:00am Sat morn I go out to find this.
I was a bit sick to say the least. First I knew better than to not strap that rascal to the jack. But got over confident when it was ok for 8+ hours without a problem. All I can figure is jack bled off and caused it to tip.
Got real lucky, no paint damage. Bars were tweaked, mirror rashed up...

junior took and passed his MSF course this weekend. You never know till its over. Not everybody passes. He's still not riding w/out me for a year maybe more.
Hectic time in his life to be learning to ride a motorcucle. Little does he know its pretty much gonna be "work to ride and ride to work" for a few years while he raises his kid ds.
