Hey Guys, the group of guys I usually ride with and I are planning a 4 day bike trip. It's not much, but it's a chance to get away. We are leaving NJ on 4-27 and are planning on taking the ferry into Delaware and continuing south down 1 and 9 (I think it is) and going into Maryland, Virginia, and then into NC. My questions are...Does anybody have any suggestions for things we might want to see, roads we might want to ride, etc? Any other things we might need to know regarding our trip. This will be my first long trip (over 250 miles) and I really don't know what to expect. I've never ridden or been down south except as a kid 25 years ago. (Chincoteaque, Va with my grandparents) I appreciate all feedback, cautions, suggestions, etc. We plan on riding all day Friday and Saturday,...

Haven't done this in a long time, my memory needs jogging and can't find this in the manual, thought I'd try here. Ok
Number one cylinder is on the compression stroke, line is in the timing hole. I know you want to turn the points plate so the points just break open, or light a test light when you advance the cam by turning it with a pair of offset needle nose pliers. What I cant remember is as you are looking at the points, do you advance by turning the points cam clockwise or counter clockwise to make it break the points? I was thinking it was counter clockwise but if thats true than I can't get the points cam off the narrow lobe?? Any input appreciated. My memory just aint what it used to be, WTF just hit the big 60 in July LOL. Al
