Just bought an 07 Heritage.....everything is stock. My last bike was an 04 Fatboy with the stage 1 upgrade and Vance and Hines Bigshot staggered exhaust. They were a little to loud for my liking....The new bike has a great sound, but I would like it to be a little louder but not as loud as the Bigshots. Now that I am through rambling, here is the question. Can I alter the stock exhaust someway to give the bike a little more noise, hopefully that low rumbling sound? If I can, do I need to add a race tuner or PCII or anything else to adjust for the minor alteration to the exhaust.

I have read past post where folks altered their stock exhaust and seemed to like it. I think this bike may be a new breed with the O2 sensors and such and I dont want to screw it up over a few bucks....

I have a 2006 Roadking custom with High flow air cleaner Vanve and Hines Oval slip-ons and It has a Harley re-map upgrade.The problem is decel popping.Has anyone have the fix for this?

Have you all seen the new 2008 lineup for Harley? What do you think about that new Rocker?

I have heard some pinging/tingling noise on my ultra the last few times i've had it out. First two times i heard it was down in the mountains and thought it may be altitude related but it does it here in my local area and im only 650 foot above sea level here. Not much chance of an altitude issue huh! Anyway I hear it when in third or fourth gear and when its running around 3700 to maybe 4200 RPM's. Hard to explain but id say its like a ping or high pitched tingle. The local HD shop said it was pre-ignition and not to worry about it. Also they said I may have been running it a little too easy. I had been keeping the RPMs between 2000 and 3000 for the most part. The bike has 3400 mile on it now. There were five bikes together in the mountains and none of the others heard theirs...

Was wondering what should and shouldn't be done to the leather on the bike?
