My buddy recently rebuilt his 1340 EVO in his 97 Softail which he bought used a while back. When taking it apart we found that something was clunking around inside the tanks. It turned out that they were these fuel catalyst capsules. I did some research and found this site which appears to be exactly what we found.
Fitch Fuel Catalyst - Product Finder
They claim an increase in tourque, acceleration, mileage, etc. I am curious if anyone has tried these and noticed any difference. We reomoved them from his. I could be wrong but I can't help but think this is just yet another snake oil product. Of course the site does not mention ANYTHING about how or why it works and they have a nice hefty...

Hi all
Just bought a new bike recently and was leafing through the owners manual at some of the maintainence information and noticed there were some fastener torque setting in in/lbs. and some in ft/lbs. I imagine that with all the aluminum parts proper torque is fairly important. I do a lot of my own maintainence/repairs on my pickup and once the warranty runs out on the bike will probably start doing the same with it so I guess the question I have is what do you guys use for torque wrenches. As well if there are any Kawasaki owners reading this what is available for a repair manual for one of these bikes.
Thanks in advance for any information

About a month ago I up shifted and the bike went into nuetral and stayed there. then the clutch froze up. i forced it and felt a pop. i pulled the side cover off and found that the throw out bearing and release fingers had shattered. I was told that this was due to an poorly adjusted clutch, and this was the only problem. I replaced all parts and adjusted the clutch. It worked for half a mile and went into nuetral and the cluthc froze up again. I did not force it this time, not wantig to buy those parts again. what could be causing this, and how do I fix it?
