I would like to convert my 77 FX to a wide tire, does anyone know what the max size tire could be put on safely and would I neeed to change the tranny from a 4 speed to anything else.

Harley is advertising new parts and accessories, and one of these is an oil cooler. Has anyone installed one of these yet ? Is it worth it ?
I have been reading a lot of articles about Synthetic oils, temperature, wear, etc, etc. Surely this cooler would also help ?
Any ideas.

A question about my (64903-99) SE discontinued mufflers.
There are three outlet holes on each slipon.
Two are 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter and one is a 3/8 inch hole.
Do other mufflers have this many?
Would this type of muffler lack the back pressure I need for optimal performance from an 88 cid?
I have a 2005 Ultra 1450 with SE Air Filter Kit and have had it dyno tuned with a SE Race Tuner.
I noticed a fall in low end torque when these were installed.
It did get a little better after the dyno though.
I am still running the stock crossover headpipes.
Runs OK in the upper RPM range but just lacks that low end torque.
I am thinking about switching to Rush mufflers since the baffles can be changed out to my level of sound preference.
Anybody running these mufflers? How do...

My dad buy a sportster 883 07 EFI but he wanna convert to carb because we know repair and tune carbs, besides, the brazilian gasoline is very adultered (23% of ethanol plus solvents puts ilegaly on the gas).

Is possible to make this conversion?

Somebody here make this conversion or know how to make?

Well, today at my daughters school, I read a huge poster made for one of the classes pen pals. It seems they were pals with an SFC Christopher R. Brevard. Well after reading the big board there, I realized he was killed in action. Damn, did that put a lump in my throat. My wife said she cried when she read it the other day and she couldn't read it again. I was tearing up as I continued to read all of the stuff on the board. I felt compelled to share it with you guys. I also signed the guest book at one of the sites for his family, to let them know how much I appreciated his sacrifice. Just was a wake up call to me, seeing a face instead of just a name, especially seeing as my daughters classmates were pen-pals with him........
