Went on a great run this past weekend. There were four of us that left Calgary at 9:15am on Friday morning. Pulled in to Didsbury to pick up two more when one of the guys popped a flat on his back tire. Two hours and $20 later, we were back on the road. Another stop in Red Deer to pick up one more, and then enroute to Cold Lake, which is northeast of Edmonton. Pulled in to town after dinner, picked up a bottle rum and enjoyed an evening with some new friends. The next morning a large group of us rode from Cold Lake to St. Paul, where we had a meeting and lunch. After that, I departed the group (as the old lady needed me home... can't really blame her
uke: ). I rode - or should I say FLEW - back to Calgary. 1284 kilometers on the bike in two days......

Need to change out a stock trany on my 97 Heritage, too many issues with it over the past year - it locked up after 2nd gear. Had it in the HD shop last summer and they were able to do something to fix it but again today it acted up and would not go past 2nd gear.
I am looking into replacing the complete transmission and would like some feedback on staying with a stock 5 speed or moving onto a 6 speed transmission.
Your thoughts and input are appreciated !

My cluch is very stiff and hard to pull on. Iv'e herd about a few fixes for this I just need the best one being there are so many gimic devices an the market. I lube my cable once every few months. It does make a little difference but not much. (I'm going by memory here) A while back I put in a easy ramp or somthing like that it also made a little diferance,,, not much. I also have a problem with it hanging up and or coming out of adjustment making it dificult to hit neutral while stoped. I adjust it on a regular basis. It's ok for a week or so then it's back to the same ol same ol. Iv'e had it checked out and adjusted by a qualified shop. Same Same. It's a 90-94 primo rivera cluch with a high torque spring. Any suggestions?

Hey guys, this will be my first post but I've been lurking long enough to know that you guys are prety good with your advise..
Being a long time automotive technician(some pronounce that greese monkey), I'm a BIG fan of fuel injection.. Now I realize that Harleys FI is more like the '80s car version and not really advanced yet, but I dont care much for carburetors in general.
I've come across several deals(at least they sound like deals) on Harley injection units. My first question, why would someone remove it? Next, would it be worth the trouble to adapt it to a '94 Wide Glide? Then, what would I need? These deals always show the manifold and injector with some wiring, surely it will need a processor. Doesnt it have a MAP sensor and O2's?

Anyone have any experience replacing the main shaft seal in the trans on an 02 Police RK? This is the shaft that goes through the primary and has the clutch and drive pulley attached to it. Does the trans have to be removed?
