i'm going to be taking my driving test here one of these days. here in pa you have to do a "figure eight". guys with bigger bikes have been known to use a friends smaller bikes for the test (mine is a hertiage raked 7% and extended 4"). kinda used to think that was o.k to do that til i read a article in a bike magizine whereas the guy really blasted anyone who would ever be tested on anyones bike but there own. the more i think on it, the more i think he's right. really feelin like i'd be betraying my ole faithful buddyuke: i'd would really value and like to hear the opion of this forum on this.

Good site and appreciate all of the knowledge and information. I have a 94 Softail Heritage / EVO that expressed fuel in the oil. Tested compression / leakdown test and seems to be within range. However, tore down the topend. . everything looked pretty nasty. . .needed it because of the miles anyway. Went with .030 OS, rehon cylinders, etc, etc. Someone informed me that it could have been the carb that was leaking fuel into the oil. Could someone out there be kind enough to elaberate on this subject who has experienced this? Could use the help before slapping all together.

I'm going to put electronic ignition on my 75 sportster this winter,I want the single fire type,Does anyone have a preference to what brand I should buy.

My Uncle is about to but a 07 XL883L,and has already talked of a "stage 1" upgrade. My Question is this..Should he wait untill AFTER break-in or go for it right out of the gate? ANY and ALL info invited.

some of you know i have his tank and pac to apply paint and graphics to...thought we would start a thread and i will load progress pics of the process......all the discolored spots are repairs to the pac and lid. we hope you enjoy ........
