I admit it, I hate crowds - and many people in general (hermitile, I guess - too many years learning others' secrets may have soured me on most of the human race). So you won't see me at Sturgis and I only go to Virginia City for Reno's Street Vibes. But I have grown fond of the Run-A-Mucca Motorcycle Rally in Winnemucca, NV. Probably the least glamorous rally in the country. It's this weekend, and it is my last ride for awhile as I am going under the knife (again - 
) for some spine reinforcement (please spare me the "weak spine/spineless" jokes - I am a veteran and a veteran firefighter, and though it may be a bit worn out and a tad too crunched I have always at least HAD a spine ).

Looking at the 2 riders backrests that HD sells....one is 209 and is just a standard backrest. Second one is 300 and has the push button adjustment for "on the fly" adjustments...... anyone have any opinions on if the additional $$ is worth it for the adjustable one??? Only want to do this thing once!!!
