flhxi getting a chirp from the pipes sounds like the right side. if they wern't stock I would go for the baffle, and I haven't declared a cracked weld or seam out yet. it is already in at the stealerhip on a recall for the regulator and speaker warranty, by the way it's 100% stock (at least the drivetrain) for another year. anyway lets here what you got.

Still not sure if this is for real or not. Please advise

Had a discussion over the weekend about the amount of old or residual oil
left in the system after an oil change. Is there any consensus on this? There
has to be some, but is it 6 ounces or 16 ounces or whatever? Thanks for any
insight y'all might have.

Earnestine is a 1989 Ultra Classic Electra Glide. The plastic part of the fuel inlet fitting is leaking (broken). How do I replace this? I have tried to unscrew the brass portion of the fitting and it just turns. The service manual shows this part as a fitting without threads. Since the service manual shows this part as a seperate item it must be replaceable but makes no mention of replacement procedures. What a peice of lousy engineering!!
