I have a 2006 XL 1200 L that I purchased late last year. Not many miles yet, but I will work on that as soon as the weather breaks. The two things I know I want to do is add a new air intake and slip on mufflers. I am looking for help in choosing the products that will give me the best bang for the buck. I have read the various forums and I know there are a lot of choices, but I would like to hear the good and bad of the different products. There are a lot of choices out there. Also looking for the final answer about re-jetting. Do I need to do it? I can trade the bike back to the dealer within 18 months and they will give me what I paid for it so I don't want too crazy......yet.

I own a 2001 FXDL Lowrider, I need to replace the back tire...What is the largest tire that will fit without any modifications? (130/90 16 is the current size). Will a 140/90 16 fit? how about a MU/90 16? I am also considering a Michelin Commander...does anyone have a comment as to my choice? I bought an Avon Venom 100/90 18 for the front in December.
Thanks

I have a 2001 Road King with a Big Bore kit, forged pistons and stock heads. The engine has 93,000 miles on it and I was curious about how the compression was holding up. I checked it and the front is 130 psig and the rear is 122 psig.
Does anybody know what it’s suppose to be?

So, I am looking into doing my head pipes.....was/am thinking about V/H true dual headers.... maybe changin out the muffler from Sampson Oval Rolled Thunder to something that keeps the rumble but is a bit quiteter....(what that would be I have no idea!). The shop told me that another option would be the Rhinehart True Duals....they go from header all the way back....told me that when running low RPM, the were pretty mild noise wise, but really "come alive" when you dig into the throttle..... Anybody have any good info or comparison info??!! have had them both and know what change it made? Any info appriciated!
