Curiosity....has anyone decided to step up to the challenge of runnin' this site? Just seems to feel like waitin' on a date of trying to log on and not getting there....ya know what I mean?
Jeez, I hate the not knowing factor! If I had the time / patience / computer skills / $ to make the attempt, I'd do it. Guess not hearing from C.D. for such a period isn't helping the feelin'. Hope he's doing alright......

well, i have had the bike out of the shop for a whole week now, and it's still running
my bike has turned into a spitter,and it only does it when i am just trying to hold and maintain a set speed, like 3200 rpms
it does that any where from 3000 rpms to 4000 rpms trying to ride steady
i had a set of new mufflers along with a top end rebuild, the bike was re-jetted, could it have been re-jeted wrong??
or could it be the ignition???
your driving 60 mph, and every couple of miles, sometimes less,it spits like a hooker with a pubic hair in her mouth!!!!!! did i say that??? but that is was it really sounds like, not that i would know................ hanging head in shame.....
the reason i dont think it is the ignition, is because it starts up without a choke,purrs like a...

So, I just tried out my new compressor AND new gravity feed paint gun on base board molding... Using MinWax Polyshades (stain with polyurithane)..... I now have a NEW level of respect for painters that use paint guns......Not sure that the average 5 year old could not do any WORSE then me..... ANY variation of speed, elevation off the work, angle, EVERYTHING has impact!!! OUCH!!! I am THINKING that maybe once my wood dries, I could be happy with it....while wet, almost have to say....ouch.....was not as easy as people make it look on TV!!! So, to Chucktx and all others that are painters.....I bow down to you.

Ok, this question is for Goose (petro/chem guy) and Chucktx (paint guy)....mostly....or if you know the answer!!! I am getting ready to spray some base board trim with stain/polyurithane....clean up says to clean up with mineral spirits. I ended up picking up acetone.

1. Will acetone clean up this "polyshades" (brand of stain from home depot)?
2. have a paint gun...will it hurt the gun (chuck, same gun I have talked with you about before)....for clean up purposes....???
