ok guys here we go........that thing of giggy on the side of the whatma call it...............i dont know propper name of what things are called so i will give it my best shot.....
i lost my clutch on the way home tonight......no notta, the motor ran great but no movement, when i finally got it back to the house,
i pulled of the clutch cover, and there was a plate with 4 bolts in it,every bolt was loose, the olny thing holding them from drooping out was the clutch cover!!!!!! so i tightend the 4 bolts down and wow. i had a clutch again?
here's my question???what kind of locktight should i pick up to prevent that from happing again??? and do they have to be torqued down to a certain # of pounds??? the clutch feels so tight right now when you pull on the lever, but i am afraid if i back...

Got my first harley and want to get a little more out of the stock twin cam 88. Had a stage 1 air filter installed. I've seen that 42mm mikuni is better than stock CV. However just read about a stage 1 upgrade for the CV. Is the mikuni worth the extra $200 or so more over the CV upgrade. Would like to hear both sides of the story. Thanks for any input. Happy motoring, Dave
