Purchased my first street bike aug.26, 00 softail deuce. Put over 2000 miles on it w/o the first misfire. At the myrtle b. rally had a stage 1 kit installed and dyno tuned by roadhog m/c out of daytona. The carb. bowl had a lot of rust in it and after the installation and tune up it started misfiring due to the rust. Why didnt it ever misfire before that? BTW the dealer is going to fix my tank at n/c.

I'm selling a pillow type back rest that came off of my '99 Softail. It is in good condition and I never use it so I'm trying to sell it to clean out space in my building for other goodies. I've attached pictures of it so check it out. In the picture with the front view it looks line there is a reflection that make it look like there is rust on it but there isn't. I'm asking $60 dollars for it, if interested drop me a line and we can work out payment and shipping.

Buell or Sportster Chrome Bezel Indicator light panel
Will NOT fit a 95 Sportster. It's too short and the plastic mounting "tangs" have no place to go. Possibly for a later model?
I have $24.00 in the item including shipping. Will sell for $20.00 even plus actual shipping (Figure around 2-3 bucks max). Too bad it wouldn't fit. It sure looks better than the stock black indicator light panel!
Bezel will drop into a 2 1/4 " oval hole. It's 2 3/8" long and 5/8" wide and
has the turn signals, low oil, high beam, and Neuteral. NO LIGHTS OR WIRING. What is pictured is what you get.
I thought I'd give all of you 1st shot at this, then after an undetermined indefinite random time it will be offered for sale on E bay.

This one has probably been beat to death before but I am unable to find it on the site.
The ol lady's boots got black crap all over my pipes this weekend. What have ya'll had the best luck with in cleaning pipes?
Thanks for the suggestions.

My '95 XLH 883 has a H-D round crome knob on the gasoline shutoff valve. It doesn't have the "handle" like when it was new. Is it safe to think the previous owner(s) just dresssed up the existing valve?
IF so, I've figured out that full left (Valve turned to the front of the bike) is full open, and 45 degrees back is full closed. (Valve is on the port side, or the left side looking forward).
Is the reserve position about 1/2 way in betweeen the twp extremes, or about 22.5 degrees from the closed position? I ran outta gas and don't want to do that again. It's embarassng and the bike get's pretty heavy pushing it in 100 deg. + heat!
Thank you,
