There seems to be more and more new riders lately. Not sure if it is the times, or the price of gas, or friends got one, or whatever. One thing that I've notice is the uncertainty of their moves, lane changes, and in general posture on their ride. They will driff one side to the other not even looking over their shoulder or in the mirrors to check out what's there, a car ,truck or another rider. Then there's the wreck, and someone doesn't get to go home for the trip to the hospital, or worse the morge. I was up at the Aspen Rally in Riudoso, NM this past week-end , there so many close calls with cars and bike in the first few moments that we arrived that I was really scared to even ride around town, little long do the runs. Rita's her name. Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows. But, it ain't lookin' good at this point for the home team. If it goes into the Freeport/Galveston area we'll be on the clean side of it. Hope it don't get too big, but the gulf is HOT. Be prepared to fork it over, too, at the gas pump boys, cause if there's ever a spot with MORE refineries than New Orleans, it's Houston/Galveston.

I recently purchased a 1999 1200 Custom that will not start. The battery is fully charged, I checked the fuses, replaced the relay that is beside the fuse panel, checked the connections to the kill switch and starter button. Three of the four fuses in the fuse panel were blown, however, I changed the fuses and everything powers up without blowing any of the fuses but it will still not crank. There is a connection under the tank that is not plugged in but I wonder if it may be a connection for diagnostics. Any and all help will be appreciated.
Thanks
