Hi everyone,
I'm Richard from the south east of France. Please excuse my english that may not be as good as it used to be (left the US in 1983...).
I have a Suzuki GSX1400 with a chaine transmission and have heard of a kit to put on a drive belt and what goes with it.
Someone here in France told me he could find this...but for something like 1200/1300 US dollars or 1500€ (must be nuts...).
To my mind it's something that he imports from the US ou UK...
Would someone here have any clues for me to find this directly as I'm getting fed up with the chaine greasing and usure on this bike (too much torque I suppose...)
Thank you for any input.
Regards
Richard

I have an '02 883R that needs the clutch adjusted. Thought I new how, but I guess not. When this started, the trany would grind when I tried to shift into first gear. Tried to adjust the tension under the rubber boot (by the oil filter), No help. I have either too much slack that I can't engage,(grinding), or too much tension, that won't engage until I let out the last 25 percent of the clutch. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like a dumb-ass, any tips would be greatly appreciated, ths. seabee5

Just wondering. If I change my current stage 1setup on my 05 wideglide (already have a Big Sucker air cleaner, power commander, and Vance&Hines staggered bigshots) by adding a "screaming eagle" ignition module to allow the higher rev limit...do I need to adjust the fuel mixture or timing or anything. As usual HD is not big help by saying, "just let us put in on and don't worry," for the tune of about $115 plus parts but I like trying things myself first, it seems simple from the installation side. Just do not want to destroy anyting by gross ignorance and I can not get a straight answer from HD.

Hey All,
I am looking at relocating to Richmond, VA from DC. Anyone have any resources for a NORMAL person that is looking to rent a room?

Exhaust pipe coming out of the rear cylinder is coated on the inside with a sooty deposit that is somewhat sticky. Any ideas? Front exhaust pipe burns clean. Bike has only 4700 miles on it. Many thanks.
