Well, I did it, triple class championships, every class I qualify for.

Here's a pic and vid from the weekend my sweet young girl friend (plutonic, just a friend, really ) took of me with my camera. Wife went, but can't figure out the camera.

This is the unlimited race. I won the backward and motard classes and took second in Unlimited. I sorta flubbed the start when everyone jumped, but got out in second. Joe Prussiano (other guy in the pic) got by, then I caught a rhythm and caught back up and was going to set him up out of T1 for a pass, but he crashed in front of me and I ran over his ankle. He claims he didn't know I'd run him over! Only in mini racing!

I have an 05 heritage classic and want to beef up the sound a little ...... was told it would REQUIRE a EFI download and a new breather box to open up the intake + labor and slip on's for a total around $900 ..... is all this necessary for $230 slip on's?

I broke the plastic finger tightened knob which controls tension on the cable and I need to replace the cable. How does it hook to the Mikuni 42mm carb?

ok..I was dead set on taking the stock heads off(1450/carb o2wide glide)
and porting and polishing them. After all more flow means more go...
done alot working on and helping my Dad in his machine shop. We have a local fella here that has 30 yrs of HD shop and training.He went to the last tech/shop class offered by HD more years ago.(very good reputation) It's all he works on.
When I spoke to him he said before I go that far I may want to switch to a S&S carb first. (already have slip on and air cleaner/ crank vents on the bike).
He said the head these days flow much better than the oldies and alot would be Carb related than I probably know. He has said we'll do it for ya but by riding I would barely notice the port/polish work versus the S&s by simply seat of the...

Who knows for how long, but I went and bought a new computer. Got two computers down now, one about fixed is in the shop. I hate Windows XP. Can't run any of my old hardware or software on it. I'm going to do all my writing on my old computers, printing, too, since my printer won't work with Windows XP. Another of Bill Gates' money grabs I reckon. I'd like to kick his nerdy, rich azz.

Anyway, can't make it out with you all this weekend. It's a combination of money (lack there of), the race this weekend, and trying to MAKE money. I've been doing pretty good at the shop lately, but I've been catching up with the back log. Actually doing tractors now, diesels. LOL! They're stone simple, though. Just had to learn how to prime the injectors after taking 'em...
