Well, I have now been in the USA for 2 days.....San Antonio is D*MN HOT....left Germany with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s.....first nite here, arrive around 9pm....still 98 degrees! yesterday at 8pm was STILL 105. Today, not a clue, think it was around 100 and I spent the entire day at Sea World with the family. Bike ended up in a crate last friday afternoon, so sometime in the next 3-8 weeks I should have a "HOPEFULLY" intact ride....have to see what the crate spits out! Not sure if I will make the labor day ride..... have the wife's family talking about a trip down, plus school dates still unknown as to days off (if any). Maybe something next year..... well, off to unpack more boxes!! Mail guy delivered 5 boxes today.....only have 3 more in the system....plus the honey do...

I have a 2002 Ultra Classic that will not idle consistently without opening throttle. At speed it runs fine. Is there some sensor that controls idle?
Thanks for any help!!

Hi Everyone,
Today my wife and I set out on another adventure. We are heading from upstate New York to Gettysburg Pa.. They are having their bike week. This is our first test with our new Heritage Soft Tail. It will be our first time going there too! We go with our best friend that is riding his 1983 Goldwing that has 108,000 miles on it. He also pulls a trailer so we aren't overloaded with everything. I will be back next week and give an update on how we make out on our adventure.

The wife and I went down to Albany Oregon last week and picked up a 1974 HD Sportster. The owner said the motor was rebuilt, 8 years ago but was never started. Bike was sitting outside under a covered carport and looks sad. Going to take a lot of work. First thing I have to do is strip it all the way down to the bare frame and start the slow process of rebuilding it. It will be long project probably over a few years due to time. The motor was supposedly bored out but no way of knowing how much.
The paint is primer gray, there is a large oil leak inside our enclosed trailer after we arrived home. Basket case, well its close but all the parts are there and the price was right, cheap and was almost free.
I might be asking lots of questions from time to time.
Hey, CD got any ideas...
