I've been trying to sell a 1997 1200 Sportster all spring and can't seem to get anyone to even look at it. It is a pretty nice bike with lots of extras, custom paint, etc. I have it priced at $6000 and still haven't had any real bites. A few people looking for pictures and that's about it. I don't think it's overpriced comparing it to others that are listed, especially with the extras this one has. Do you guys think this is priced a little high or is it just getting harder to sell these things than it used to be?

just a little ?? i installed v&h true dual / ovals ,stage 1 kit and harey down load and boy does it pop, ping , bang . i got my wheels blown off by a stock roadking (that sucked ) will the v&h fuel pack fix this ?

I have been servicing a customers 03 bagger since new it is a injected bike stock other than pipes, intake and power commander with about 38,000 miles. The owner rides alot and takes good care of his bike the last few services he has complained about mileage getting bad and the bike is getting hard to start sometimes. We did the usual checks but nothing showed itself, the last time he was in I asked him if he had been playing with the commander settings he said no. So we reset the timing settings to check mileage and starting problems. A few days later he came in with the results things were better but still not starting normally, this is the first time that I had this type problem show up on a injected bike so for some reason I was slow at putting the information together. I have a freind who owns a 2003 Electraglide Classic. Stage one was done at the dealer. Problem is since carb was jetted his fuel mileage has dropped to the low 30's. Is there a rule of thumb to start with when jetting the carb.
