Hey CD,
I bought a 99' Fatboy last fall. It came with what I eventually found out was a "stash box" that mounts below the regulator on the front of the frame. The problem is that it is missing the chrome cover. Is the cover available seperately or would I need to order the whole box to get a cover? I have been unable to find them seperately so far.
Thanks,
Dave

I am back riding again after a long while.
I have a VTX 1800s. The dealer/service dept has told me NO synth oil until the bike reaches 12,000 miles. This lets all the parts wear-in. And Not to put in a K&N air filter. The factory settings won't benifit from the extra air flow and that you only need to service the paper air filter about 20,000 to 30,000 miles. Lastly, use only honda oil filters. The other filters have ben blowing part due to the oil pressure of the bike.
I don't need to change things for the sake of changing. The bike has plenty of power, maybe it needs diffrent seats, bags, shield. The stuff that makes it more trip friendly. If anyone has had experance with any or all of these questions I would say thanks for any insite and information.

The Vance and Hines specs say that the Bigshot Satggered will not work on the '05 FLSTNI with optional saddlebags. Is there a reason why? They appear to be below the axle bolt and the saddlebag bottom is 4" above the centerline of the axle. From the pix it does not look like they will interfere at all. I have looked at a lot of pipes and these are the ones I want to get.
Please let me know

I have a 05 Road King with 11K miles. I just completed a 3000 mile trip with 17 other bikes and I was the odd guy out in terms of oil consumption. While no one needed to add oil I used one qt. I have been told by my dealership that it's normal .... it just seems excessive to me. Any thoughts from the group would be welcomed.
By the way, I use Amsoil, do not run an oil cooler and have no engine modifications.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Hi folks. I just picked up a new XL883 and I am having a hard time deciding on decent pipes or extensions to give it some HP and mostly sound better
