I'm going to be riding for team WRW Racing next season in mini endurance in CMRA (Central Motorcycle Roadracing Asso) and TMGP series (Texas Mini Grand Prix). WRW Racing is Billy Wiese in Houston, Texas. He's a first rate tuner, tuned recently in AMA superbike racing for a couple of teams. Anyhow, John, my partner and the owner of the bike, an NSR50 Honda has support from Billy. His wife runs the office for Billy, so that's the connection. Anyway, Billy has developed kits for the NSR in 50cc for TMGP light superbike and a 63cc decked, ported, and piped version for superbike class and CMRA F5. The guy works on anything and if you are in the Houston area, he is THE MAN I'd use for performance and dyno tuning on metric, Harley, whatever. I thought you guys would get a kick out of...

Hey all, does anyone have an opinion or experience with Dakota Kid's CV carburetor rework? I've never read anything about the results, I just know it sets ya back about $300, plus shipping.
I have a '04 Wide Glide, with no immediate plans for the engine except exhaust, intake and possibly ignition.
Is it worth spending the extra couple hundred, or would a Thunderslide kit be a better choice? I'd also use DP's CCP fuel inlet and idle mixture screw.
I'm what you'd call a novice mechanic, but not afraid to take things apart. Seems like the DIY project would be more fun/educational, and less expensive.
Is there any comparison between these options?
Thanks for any and all inputs.

Hi!
New here. I just got a 05 HD 1200 Custom. I know there is a special tool used to adjust the rear shocks. My question is what position is for what weight? And what is the proper adjustment for what weight? I am small and want to adjust it to where I can get it to set as low as possible. I appreciate any information.
Thanks!!

Hi everyone. I would appreciate any imput that will lead me to the right bike for myself. I am looking for a crusier style bike. The problem is that I am 6'5". Any thoughts. I want to buy Harley. However, I want to have one that fits me, a stock Fat Boy is too small. The Honda VTX's/2000 Vulcans seem larger, based on wheel base.
Follow up question, Sounds... The VTX's and Vulcan 2000 stock, how are the sounds?
Any help would be appreciated.

Need some advice. My wife and I have committed to at least two 7 day trips this summer. We have a 2005 Road King Classic and typical packing for my wife requires enough cargo space for half the house. I have her prepared for what it permitted and what is not My qustion is about the standard sissy bar mounted luggage pack or the available tour pack for the Classic. I would prefer the tour pack but is there enough room in there??? I see guys traveling the equilivant on the Ultra Classic and seem to have plenty of room. I appreciate the feedback / advice.
