Just put a new set of pipes on a sporty. Ran it over the weekend, no problem. Out last night, oil tank temp was approaching 250 deg. This is much hotter than normal. Any ideas? Am I running too lean now?

I got this one awhile back and liked it.
To those of us who have been there, remember. To those of us who have not, learn... The average age of the military man is 19 years old. He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is
Considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's; but he has never collected unemployment either. He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either
broke up with him when he left, or swears...

An old farmer in Kansas had owned a large farm for several years. He
had a large pond in the back, fixed up nice; picnic tables, horseshoe
courts, and some apple and peach trees. The pond was properly shaped
and fixed up for swimming when it was built.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he
hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed a five
gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard
voices shouting and laughing with glee.
As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping
in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went
to the deep end of the pond.
One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you
leave!"
The old man frowned, "I...

Hi all. Perhaps someone who has already done this can help me.
I will be upgrading the gears on my '99 Fat Boy to a 6-speed set. I have done some research and it looks like that both Screaming Eagle and Baker put out good products. Consistently, I have been told to stay away from RevTech.
I can pick up the Baker set for $2,060, and the Screaming eagle for $1,750. The mechanic who will be doing the work (an HD dealer) says that Baker's quality is not as good as it used to be, and that Screaming Eagle beats it "hands down". For the obvious reason, I am skeptical.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance...
