Hi all. Perhaps someone who has already done this can help me.
I will be upgrading the gears on my '99 Fat Boy to a 6-speed set. I have done some research and it looks like that both Screaming Eagle and Baker put out good products. Consistently, I have been told to stay away from RevTech.
I can pick up the Baker set for $2,060, and the Screaming eagle for $1,750. The mechanic who will be doing the work (an HD dealer) says that Baker's quality is not as good as it used to be, and that Screaming Eagle beats it "hands down". For the obvious reason, I am skeptical.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance...

Hope sombody can help, I have a 2004 Electra Glide Classic. I want to lower the seat height so I dont feel like Im standing on my toes when I stop the bike. is the best way to lowering the bike to change out the shocks, I would like to drop the seat height 1 to 2 inches. I think the standard shock is 13 inches. Can I go with a 11 1/2 inch progressive shock and not have any clearance problems.
Thanks for the help

I am stationed in Germany with the Air Force. Good probability that next year I will PCS back to the states. Anyone out there with any expiriance with international shipping of a bike?? I am hearing WAY to many horror stories about bikes shipped by govt contract movers (my neighbor/friend just shipped his back, HE had to show the movers how to tie the bike down in the truck as they forgot the bike crate.....they wanted to use 550 cord and tie to the plastic of his Honda CBR.....
) I am wondering about cost, and delivery time, and even where to start looking! Any help would be appriciated!!
