G'day bikers, I recently lost my 98 FXDWG in the Tweed floods and have bought a 2003 883C (Centenary model). The carbie on the 883 needs a bit of work and I remembered a part I bought for the wideglide (being a sparkling new Carb #27421-99C ) I figured the carbs are similar and have searched Google for fitment on this specific carb without much success. My question to you guys with the knowledge, will this carbie fit my 2003 883C sportster?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I have a HD 2008 Ultra Classic that is killing batteries. Battery as measured at terminals is 12 v. Voltmeter on bike reads 10v (?) Now when I start here up its sluggish but starts thankfully on the first turn. Run her for about 10 minutes kill her and try to start again. Even more sluggish but starts first turn. Bike V meter reads 10 v. KIl her and try again...she is dead. Is it unreasonable to expect this years model to start 3 times in a row. Battery is 2 1/2 year old. Best thing I can come up with is the draw on the battery exceeds what battery can deliver. what should the current draw be for starting this bike?
Thanks in advance for your interest

Pretty cool, would you put your bike in this....
I could see it on a road trip for sure getting the grime, bugs
and schmutz off during the trip.

Hello to All;
I read the outstanding exhaust article. It really made complicated physics easy to understand.. Thanks. I'm doing a scratch EVO era chopper build using a S&S V96 engine with matched carb. The bind I'm in is selecting the right pipes. Performance is paramount, with looks running second . Keeping in mind the "style" of that era, what would be my best options? Please be specific as to part numbers etc. Thanks.
