I am having a hard time finding Primary Oil for my 96 1340 Road king, well can find it but it is off the wall price wise. Anyone on here running 4T 25-50 syn oil in their Primary? I can get a high quality 4T syn oil that I have used in the motor and running 75/90 syn oil in the tranny and seems to work and preform very well. I have used a mineral Primary oil in the past. There has to be a lot of threads with other brands like Harly Syn3, Redline, Amsoil, very few of these brands are available here on the islands at a price that won't hurt the pocketbook........ The Oil I am using is Valveoline full Syn 20/50, only 7.00 a litre. Sorry if this has been beating this subject to death but looking for opions on weights for each hole.

I have been riding this Postie bike(Honda CT110) for more than a year now.
Last week it had a puncture on my way home from mates place.
I felt the rear wheel was losing air, but thought I could make it home before it completely goes flat, but it did. So, for 10-15 meters or so I was on the bike while the tyre was all flat. Then I pushed it home for about a kilometer or so(in the middle of the midnight).
Next day, I pulled the wheel out and had a look at it. The tube was broken from the neck, completely. But, I couldn't find any puncture marks on the tyre or the tube, so I reckon it's the tube apparently cracked near the valve neck and started leaking.
Anyway, I bought a brand new tyre and a tube and fitted it in.
Today, I did a test ride and rear wheel is wobbly to the point I...

Do these figures sound correct?

I fitted a used from e-bay tach to my 04 Sportster 883

These are the RPM figures at exactly 40 mph
1st gear 2400rpm
2nd 1800rpm
3rd 1400 rpm.

does that sound about right tor did I buy a dud tach..

I was at the only HD store today, and while discussing a misfire problem at 3000rpm..one of the techs suggested that maybe the tacho is mis reading.

At very slow idle it is reading about 400-500rpm

Yep, the time has come to repaint the FLTR. I was hoping that this wouldn't happen until next year but sometimes one Just doesn't have a choice.

hello I'm looking for some help I have 02 electra glide that I just put a 95 kit in with andrews tw37 cams and rush dual exhaust. The carb has 170 main jet and a 45 primary I did not install them so was curious if that was a good starting point or does anyone have a better idea as to what ones to use
