rode to Springfield,MA yesterday for the night. Stayed with my son and DIL for. Went to theodores Blues and bbq in downtown Springfield to meet some friends,took son and his family to. Saw a cool mural on the side of the building. It was a cold as shit morning this morning...34 degrees so I waited till 9am and it was 43 degrees,lol. Got home topped off the tank,splash of star tron and put the tender on. Will cover the bike soon. Sux.

Gonna turn my 1983 FLHS into a rigid. Need to figure our what parts I need,purchase all those and then start the process. Hoping to use this seat I found at a swap meet 25+ years ago.

Not much to talk about motorcycle wise right now with all the rain we have been getting. So I sold my XDS 9mm and picked up a XDS 4.0 in 45 cal. Difference is the 9 was a 3.3 inch and the new 45 is in 4 inch. Springfield has really refined their pistols cause the new XDS is a master piece and functions without any issues. Feed any ammo you put in it. The pistol shoots exceptionally well and grouping at 50 feet is excellent. Picked up a Don Hume concealment holster for it and works great. CB has the same pistol only in 3.3 inch. I have found that the 4 inch seems to balance a bit better and the blow back for a small 45 pistol is very manageable. Gotta say I really like it. I am over 60 and the Armed Forces thinks I'm too old to track down terrorists. You can't be older than 42 to join the military. They've got the whole thing ass-backwards.
