I have a 2000 fatboy with 38,000 miles and have yet to turn a wrench on her except for regular maintenence.
I have a problem with the starter that just popped up and cant find anyone with a similar problem.
When the starter button is engaged it clicks loudly. Battery is full charged, I assume since it is clicking at the starter, that the relay is fine.
Connections look fine.
Solenoid?????????

Hey All,
Hope your all well. I am sad to say I will not be riding for sometime. I have a 5 1/2 inch cut in my belly to that was used to remove my appendix. Not sure when i will be cleared to ride again by the DOC.
Just as the weather turned good and hot, I almost died. Thanks to tons of Prayers and an inspired Doctors.
At least I got in my first Rolling Thunder in!
Please keep riding and be safe! I hope to be back by the summers end!
Maybe I should buy a sports car since I can't ride the Softail!

I have a 2 into 1 V&H Pro Pipe on my 99 Fatboy. It was on there when I bought it and it's the first one I've had so I don't know anything about them. I don't know, or how to tell, if it's the HS or not. I have two questions.
1) It is starting to discolor a little where the 2 turns into 1. Is this normal with these or do I maybe have a little leak in that spot?
2) Do these come through with a baffle or is one available? Mine doesn't have one and I think I would like to get one. The local fuzz sent me a very nicely worded post card about a "curtousy check for informational purposes only" that they were conducting; and of course they're brand new decible meter would be "available" for use. Yeah right! I'll be the first one there. NOT!
As always, any input would be greatly...

OK, right off, I built this bike from a CCI kit (the Eldorado). So whatever is wrong, I probably caused it. Anyway...It has always pulled left, somewhat. It's not too bad, but agravating. The latest fix I tried was to strip down the forks and reset the fork neck bearing load using the 'fall away' method. One of the problems is that it falls away in one direction very easily, and the other direction it takes a lot more push to get it to fall. I would have thought it should be pretty equal. Since the last adjustment, about 300 miles ago, I notice a front wheel shimmy trying to develope if I take my hands off the bars. It is easily damped with hand pressure though. To get to my question, I am wondering if I have the bearing too loose now? Or, could it be something else that I...

Hey all,
I have a 2000 Fatboy, Kuryakin Hypercharger, Python 3 Pipes, and a DAYTONA TWIN TEC PLUG-IN IGNITION MODULE. I am looking for a little more out of it now and I was told that the Mikuni 42mm is the way to go. Any one have any other suggestions or is this the best for performance.
