Love this pic of Johnny Murphrey in action in a grand national.
They ran the flat track last night in Hockley, Texas, about 2 1/2 hours max from my house. I wanted to go, but I banged up my back at the races last weekend and it's not feeling too good yet. So, I'll have to wait on the new flat track series up there. Most of the guys that go were at Texas World Speedway this weekend anyway running an 8 hour big bike endurance, so I might not have had any company, no fun at all. When I was working Saturdays I couldn't make it out there, but now, yeah, I quit the job at Houston Kaw. I just wasn't making enough up there to justify it. One week I had a whole FOUR hours on my check! Sheesh! Yeah, it was rainy, but heck, I ain't putting up with that traffic and the hassles...

Was wondering if anyone knows the approx. horsepower for a 2004 E-Glide Standard EFI. At this point, it is still bone stock (someday the extras will come! ) Have had a couple people ask, but I am only able to find torque info. Thanks!

I have a 03 heritage efi that is all stock. On hot days (80 to 90deg) after a long ride when coming to a stand still or idle the bike wants to run ruff or turn off if you dont keep the idle up. I thought HD test these bike at hot conditions and should not stall in these conditions.

Awhile back...shortly after this new format was launched you said you were working on a way to make posting larger format pictures easier without the need to use a url link and image hosts....Did you ever get that worked out so I can post direct like I did that puny image in my profile?

Hi all, new member here, as usual coming in with a question. Hopefully I'll be able to add some value to the board as time goes by.
I recently picked up a Screamin Eagle ignition module. I also have an Andrews EV13 cam I was planning on putting on the bike as well. Bike is an 89 flhtc/u 1340 Evo bagger so it's a bit on the heavy side but I'm a mid-size 180 kinda guy. Have an S&S breather, Hooker slip-ons and an SE coil installed. Everything seemed like a good combo but I got to wondering about the SE ignition module. I've had the bike for 15 years and my ingrained riding habits are between 1600 and 3200 rpm. I like to roll it on but tend to shift low and cruise low in the rpm range.
I'm wondering if the advance curve on the ignition is going to be a plus, or a minus, given...
