Ive got a wide glide front end on my custom chopper and the fork seals leak as well as the top of the fork cylinders, is this a tough job to complete by myself or should I spend the 600 bucks to get it fixed in a shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2004 E-Glide Standard EFI and am looking for long term changes (for the better I hope). I am hoping that as money comes available and/or I save my pennies, I can change the air filter and exhaust. Currently have stock everything. Plan to change the Air filter, no problem. Question I have is: slip on pipes or True Dual headers? What are the pros/cons of each? Leaning toward Hooker pipes, but not commited yet. Thoughts? Comments? I would like Pleasant "rumble", however, living on a military instalation and working shift work, needs to be manageable in the middle of the night when coming or going to work. Thanks!

Hello all. I'm skullride I'm AZ and man is hot.. Love it. Ok I have a 03 softail Duece. I want to put 12"apes for the old school look with new styling and I want to know what measurements I need to take for the correct size cables to get. Cables aren't chump change so I want to get the right thang. Going steel braided and putting the wires in the bars for custom look. You know? So where do I measure from and to and how much slack is prefered? Thanks me and skully thank you Man

My stock EVO 1340cc seems to to be lacking "get up and go" power. Its like driving a car with no passing gear. I had the bike gone through by a local bike shop. They re-jetted my carb to match my intake and exhaust, (Forcewinder intake & Samson Street sweeper pipes). I understand about the ev27 and ignition system, and I plan on installing these soon. It just seems that there should be more ("hang on") power. Could a carb adjustment cause this?

thought I posted this one already...just in case.02 wide glideCV./slipons Cylcle S.Dyna....they make the screaming Eagles 1 as well same flow pattern according to "spec"
Jets were 45/190..now screaming eagle air kit..48/195.....bike runs totally great all thru the relm of the rpm spectrum!!!!!...too lean? I backed out the idle mixture a turn and then another 3/4 a trip later.
did all the turn it off and run plugs stuff as well...still one shop thinks it is to lean, the dealer is no help.. full of crap info from people trying to hard to sell stuff(long story)...then got others that say it will not ash that much due to the characteristics of the gas/bike. I run 92-93 shell or sunoco only... (when available.)supposedly 100%
No misses no sputtering at all!!!
1 need to know factory...
