Had some computer problems and haven't been in here for a spell. Sorry about that. Might be going to work at Houston Kawasaki turning wrenches three days a week. They want full time, but it's 120 miles from here and I wanna keep running my shop. They called and took info for a background check, so I guess I'll get the offer. That'll give me some spending money minimum each week at least, but with the shop here, guess I'll be burning the wick at both ends for a while. Bummer, really wanted to be retired, LOL! but, I'm doing it as much for the experience than anything else. I need to bone up on some things like remapping EFI systems and that. All the new bikes are going to EFI and I've not done any remapping and such. So, I think of this job as OJT, getting paid for training....

Well..things change every day. I thought that since living in Las Vegas now that it'd be real cool to just day ride down to Laughlin instead of paying over $500 for 3 nights..it's only a 90 minute ride. Then I have this large tile job to do in Sacramento..which allows me to attend the playoff games for the Sacramento Kings (this is my last year as a season ticket holder after moving from Sacto to LV this past December permanently)..precluding me from making it to Laughlin.
Well..things change every day (did I just say that?). The tile job won't be ready to start for another week, and my Kings have looked so bad ending the regular season (lost to lowly Golden State last night to give away the Pacific Division to the hated Lakers). My seat parnter and me are selling games 1 & 2 on eBay...

I know we have a lot of new and returning members re-registering and maybe its none of my business but...would it hurt to list in your personal bio where home is for you? Maybe its just me, but I always look to see where people are from when I first "discover" them on the board. Maybe I just do it hoping some day someone from the upper midwest will come on board and I'll have someone to meet up will at local rallies. I've been telling everyone I know about this site for three years now and I still don't ever find anyone from Minnesota...It would be great to live down in the southwest where it appears most of you are and make it to the same rallies and group rides...anyway...not to put anyone out...it was just a thought.
