Just bought a 2000 FLT Softail and needed to change the oil. While, impatiently waiting on a HD backordered service manual for 2-3 weeks. While guessing which plug was for oil - got the transmission fluid.
How much and where do I add transmission fluid???
-btw ..... called and found out how to drain oil can - don't think I correctly used the drain hose - made a big mess and accidently tossed 1/4 pipe plug for tranmission fluid off the end of my 1/4 allen....
what an IDIOT!

A customer had called a asked about a recall he had heard of. I did a little research and came up with this site. These are samples od H-D related recalls. Pretty neat site not biased just the actual recalls.

Met SK up at Harrah's for some lunch on Friday. The attendance was markedly down on Friday from any year I have ever been. Saturday was more crowded but still not as many people as in years past IMHO. As far as the vendors it was just the SOS. I guess after so many trips to Laughlin I am about toasted on it. The riding in the area sucks compared to about anywhere else. You can only do Oatman, Moon Valley, Route 66, Lake Havasu only so many times before you get bored to tears.
Security at the event was big time this year. To get into any of the rooms at Harrahs you needed wrist bands. Guests had to pay $20.00 to get a wrist band to a room you rented! No colors, weapons or attitudes allowed. In other words, you must comply with their interpretation of colors. Watched a HOG member get...

HI
I am new to this forum trying to find help for my 2002 Ultra Classic. Was wondering if any one has had the same problem. When cruiseing at any speed the bike will sputter a couple times as you start to increase the throttle, like its out of gas, this is if you very slowly start to roll on the throttle. It may sputter once in 100 miles and sometimes 10 times in a mile and sometimes not at all in 500 miles. it comes and goes been to the shop about 10 times and they cant duplicate. started when the bike had 12,000 miles and its got 19750 on it now, have replaced crank shaft sensor 1 time. plugs and different gas stations. HELP if you have had the same with your twin cam 88 fuel injected. this has became a real pain and makes trips scary that you wont get back
