Hey all. I have a ‘02 FXDX running a Thunderheader and a Roland Sands K&N air cleaner. Recently installed a CV Performance tuner kit with the spring, needle, EZ Just, idle screw, and the jets. I went with the 48 pilot jet and 190 main jet. The carb is spitting gas out toward the filter as seen in the video. Lost on a fix. The accelerator pump nozzle is facing the right way and hasn’t been modified. Could use some assistance or advice. Not a fan of taking my bike to the shop.
Got invited to a pig pickin today. Been awhile. Besides the pig they had 1/4 chicken,two kinds of potatonsalad,coleslaw and rolls. For dessert they had lemon pound cake,banana pudding, oreo cookie cake,pig pickin cake and upside down cake.
On this site where they advertise a perfiomance kit for the Keihn CV carb, they point to the emulsion tube and say for mid range. I am swapping partsaround from 2 carbs ,and have 3 emulsion tubes , wich areall different . That's beside the pouint, I realy am asking if the needle in combination with the emulsion tube is for mid range ,where does top rpm range get it's fuel from.. ?
