Putting new grips on an 02 Fat Boy. Directions say to look to owners man. to determain how to access throttle cable when replacing the right side.
Nothing in the man. Will it be pretty obvious when I take my switch housing apart? Much like the other side?

Hi everyone!! I have a 1972 xlch sporster that i bought 32 years ago. Ive gone over everything on this bike, it sat for 20 years. It has new tires brakes coil, rebuilt carb ,plugs ,wires, points & condencer and new battery. The bike looks like brand new and when it starts it runs great. That is my problem! It is a mother to start it is a kicker, should have gotten electric start but its too late now iam 61 years old i have know problem kicking this thing but it seems 5 or 6 times is a little much. Do you guys have any tips on timing this beast to make it start easyer. Thanks Joe K Retired A&P mech.

I had to replace a front cyllinder head gasket yesterday and decided to remove the slug as I thought it was causing additional back pressure during startups and making a kind of popping noise as the first waves of exhaust came running down that pipe and slamming into the slug. Well I found a couple interesting things in my riding since. I seem to have a wider and taller power band and the exhaust note it deeper and louder. I don't think this cheapo mod was allowing my new big bore to breathe freely enough and choking out the...

Just purchased 2004 Road King, 1200 miles approximately, dropped off for first service oil change, was told by the dealer that the brake noise in the front was normal as well as the surge at about 35mph. Would like to know if anyone has information or the same problem with their Road King? Would like to know if anyone has a website for technical bullentins from Harley Davidson?
