Got a couple of 04 bikes (FLSTCI & FXDLI) and want to do some modifications to improve sound as well as performance; also considering costs. What we want to do is make the right changes first, leaving options for the right changes later. Looks like, from what we've read (the posts on mufflers, pipes, air cleaners, and EFI on board computers), the first things we should do is install Power Commander USB III's, and Air Sucker or SE breathers. Then, till we decide which pipes and/or mufflers we want, we can drill out the muffler baffles (7/8" ??) and run with this arrangement a while, doing a download after each of these changes of course.
Is this a reasonable approach?

just limped back from a shortened road trip with my 91 fatboy after my voltage regulator went on me .repaced it with a new oem regulator and battery ,2days later that one gave up on me I think. still have to check it out when I get my battery charged enough,anyone have an idea what could be causing this???and how I should trouble shoot it?

I have a 99 Twin Cam just installed a 95 big bore, 10.25/1 forged SE pistons, SE 258 cams and SE HP heads. Since the performance work was done the bike runs very stronge. Question is how or can I get rid of the valve noise? Also seems to be gaining momentum with the front exhaust lifter clatter.

Where is the idle screw or adjustment on the 2004 Harley Road King Custom. It is a fuel injected set up.

I have a 2004 E-Glide standard.....anyone know off hand the diameter of the Engine Guard/crash bars?? I need to get some highway pegs and have found that the clamps are sold in different sizes......need to get that darn shop manual.....any suggestions on that one also??!! Thanks!
