It's sad to see Victory being dropped. Apparently the main reason is that the engine wasn't designed for the tougher Euro air quality requirements coming to Euro and the US soon. Whereas the Indian motor is OK for them. I think that we'll see Indian get dropped within the next couple of years too. Not as many units being sold compared to Victory. My son's shop has Victory and is a major seller of Kawa and Victory's. They tried to get Indian to replace the Victory line and was told not effin way. So it seems they are keeping all their eggs in one very weak basket. JMHO

Specifically a 2014 Road King. The questions are;
Can anyone bleed the brakes or is it necessary for the dealer to do it?
If the ABS needs to be active, what is the tool used for this?
Can I buy this tool?
What is happening when the ABS is being activated for bleeding the brakes?
I talked my brother into getting 16inch apes and didn't realize the trouble he was going to have bleeding the fronts. He is able to bleed them but it doesn't seem good enough yet (still feels too soft) and we are not sure if we need to have the HD stealer $$$$$ bleed them more.
Any help is greatly appreciated and we would really like to know more about what the ABS (and linked system) does if anyone knows.
thx Tom

Hello all. New to the website and I'm sure I will be returning frequently because of the wealth of info.
Here is my dilemma.....
Purchased a chopper which I believe (from previous owner and limited availability of older ultima motor info from their website) contains a 113" el bruto motor. It appears to need a gaskets (at least) or possibly a bearing (at worst). Every place I have looked has no information on how to break down the engine case numbers by year of manufacture. On the engine website it has a breakdown for 2012 engines (that I found) but nothing older. Can someone please direct me to somewhere that has it online? I've put a request into a few parts dealers that sell the motors to no avail. I also sent an email directly to midwest motorcycle supply...still waiting on a reply....
