Well I was able to get my first experience inside the dyno room as my bike is being tuned. I (thought) I understood what it is that tuners do but to actually watch and observe what they do is really impressive. There are so so many variables that they have to know and understand it is remarkable.
Hot Riders bike is a just a calm Stage II but with her bike, the tune made the build. Watching Just Torque It having to go through the entire rpm range from off idle to red line and change almost every box percentage in 125 rpm increments was tedious and took a long time. Then, getting back on the bike, do another few pulls to see if those changes produced the best results. If not, go back and make more changes and do it all over again and again.
The moral of the story....... If you are...

I have a 1998 evo and after I went on a long ride yesterday I noticed oil was pouring out of the over flow I’ve checked the ball and spring and can’t seem to find the problem

I have a 1998 FXSTC and put smaller bars on it. The stock brake line was too long so I order a new line and connections from J&P. Got it all back together but now I have no brake on the front. I figured I'd have to bleed it, but it doesn't want to "bleed up". I pull the brake lever in and hold it, open the bleeder on the caliper, some fluid comes out, but not under any pressure. Then I close the bleeder screw on the caliper before I release the lever so I don't introduce more air into the system. I have no "resistance" when I pull the brake in. When I was taking it all apart I noticed that there wasn't much fluid in the master cylinder and it looked like there were small air bubbled in the fluid that was there. I topped it off anyway with new fluid and tried to bleed the system, but...

I'm getting a rattle from the top end and it sounds like the rocker assembly. Are "Rocker Lockers" a gimmick? If so, whats the best way to go about taking care of it?

Hi, new here, thanks for the in. Looked for my topic but didn't find an answer, perhaps new eyes will see this and have it..... So I inherited my bro's 06 Sportster XL883L with 16,000 miles on it. It's an American market bike that ended up in Alberta. When he got it, the bike had Vance & Hines staggered short shorts on it with their factory baffles, (basically a pipe with some little louvers) a stock air cleaner, and a untouched factory carb. He bought one of those cone/spike air cleaners and put it on. Then the issues began... when getting from mid to towards the top of any gear... pop...pop,pop,pop. He suffered with it in town at low rpm where it was not so noticeable. Move ahead to now and I have the issue. I have miles of flat open highway to run and want it right. I put the stock air...
