Wondering if anyone has any advice on this. Just bought a '91 sporty. Have put on about 1000 miles. The bike now has just over 5000 miles on it. No major problems, doesn't run extremely hot (oil is usually around 175-200 when sitting in traffic). When it is warming up it runs extremely jumpy for the first couple of miles. after that it's fine. I get some backfires when decelerating occasionally. The guy I bought this from had it for the past 9 years and never rode it. He didn't know what kind of aftermarket pipes were put on. The heads are now extremely blue. Any ideas for what settings to start at?
Would it be easier to get a new exhaust system and a jet kit to match?
Right now I'm looking at Samson big guns or Hard Kromes staggered. Any thoughts on either of these?...

I have a stock carb on my Deuce. I've put on V&H straightshots, highflow air and rejetted the stock carb. What type of improvements would I gain by replacing the stock carb with a Mikuni 42? Would this be the next upgrade in my journey to more torque?

We just bought our old Dyno back from a shop that never installed it. I am getting it upgraded to a model 250 so will be able to do tuning here very soon. Also, it will FINALLY give me back the ability to do unbiased testing of various exhausts, cams etc.

Hello
I was wondering if anyone has put Rinehart true duals on a fuel injected 99 road king. I have Sampson exhaust on now with high performance air filter and downloads. The bike runs great now just want a different sound. I was going to put some screamin eagles on, and my harley dealer said the screamin eagles would just slip on and should be fine. He said I wouldn't need any download or adjustment of any kind. Would this be true with the Rinehart True Duals? Also if you have some on your harley are you happy with the sound and performance.
Thanks

I have a 2004 Softail Standard, the clutch lever is at the end of my finger tips! Is there an off set clutch lever?
