Do you think the Internet is safe from overzealous states wanting taxes? Think again.
Literally every state is pushing to get a slice of taxes from your purchases. Many states want to make it a dual tax where you pay taxes on both your state and the state the sale is made in. If you want to keep the Internet free from the states manipulation contact your representatives and tell them to keep their hands off. It amazes me that some states actually believe that when a resident makes a purchase in another state, they owe their home state taxes. I read of a court case not long ago where the state was suing an individual for taxes on a new car he bought and registered out of state. What amazes me further is how we go along letting governments get bigger and taxes higher without any...

I'm having problems with my Generator on my Pan SHovel.
yeah I got caught in the rain a few times, took the gennie apart and cleaned thoroughly. Checked same with ohm meter for continuity throughout. All checked out ok. Then last thing, I "shocked" the field coils by touching the positive terminal of the battery and then momentarily touched the "A" terminal of my generator. All should be well, but alas no voltage to the battery...I'm stumped.

Went to Waller for the local flat track last night and got more than I'd thought I was going to get. There were 14 mad doggers running and a huge crowd of spectators and riders. It was a national VDTRA vintage race night! Some old local heros were there like Darrell Hurst still racing. He's won in the Astrodome at the GNC stuff, a local legend. And, from Beaumont, Texas, the man who the event was named for, the "Carroll Resweber Flat Track Series", was the four time Grand National Champion, Carroll Resweber. I'd read about him all my life and seems he knew some folks that I knew and I never knew that, LOL. One of his buddies that got him on the Grand National scene was Tommy Byars Sr, who was Bubba and Tommy Junior's dad, who I raced with in AMA road racing and CRRC back in the...

I Am New At This Game,so Please Have Patience. I Just Purchased A Nearly New 1977 Xl, No Miles But Lots Of Buggers,( Have You Ever Looked That Up In Your Funk And Wagnels?). The Main One I Have To Address First Is A Stripped Crankcase Drain Plug .what Has Worked For You, I Know This Is Not The First One To Strip Out. I Dont Want To Have To Keep One Eye On The Oil Light, And The Other On The Rear View Mirror, I Need At Least One To Look Down The Road Ahead.
Seriously, I Plan On Keeping This Thing Awhile, And Dont Want To Worry About It. Thanks For Your Help, xlb
