Can anybody recommend a good place for biker boots online?
I've got size 14 feet, and you can imagine how rare shoes that size are here in Japan. I always shop around whenever I'm back in the States but nobody ever seems to have sizes that big in stock.
I'm looking for something like standard engineer boots, square-toed boots, or even cowboy boots if they seem sturdy enough for the road.
I've managed to wear a hole in the top of my faithful old boots with the shifter, after wearing out the soles on the asphalt and resoling them again and again over the years. Lots of miles and memories in these old boots, but it looks like they're due for retirement, and I can't find anyting to replace them.

anyone have any problems with synthetic oils not letting roller bearings 'roll" but instead they they slide around the bearing and then get flat spots. Read it but know of no one.
Another question if I drill and let the oil drain from the top of the engine to the bottom thru a hose back into the lower case is there really any increase in hp. I know people who have done this and now a local shop has a dyno.. so gonna take the stage one in and get a base run first and for air fuel mix more importantly, then remove the dirty crankcase air fumes test then possibly drill another oil return to keep the crank out of the oil down flow to to see if I get three HP from both that would be 6hp for free. But main thing is the air fuel..don't want it to lean... anyone done these and dyno... I am...

On my 98 Softail's speedo head, just below the needle and above the odometer window. it says (but blacked out) " Engine - Pursuit ". Is this the norm on all speedo heads?

New to this Tech Talk site, but have read through most threads looking for information regarding the DynoJet Power Commander III/USB.
I just picked up a low-mileage 02 FLHTCUI. The first thing I did was order the V&H Oval Slip-Ons and a Power Commander III/USB from Direct Parts. I'm using a Kuryakyn Twin Velocity air cleaner assembly and the stock ECM. No other mods to engine, yet. I've read through all the Power Commander documents, more than once, and have searched for answers at various websites.
Have been working the last two weeks to get the Power Commander working properly. With the PC installed, and with every map I have tried, the bike has a severe intermittent stumble (feels like fuel starvation or lack of spark on one or both cylinders) at different rpms. I also get...
