I have a question. I have a '94 Dyna Glide Convertible (FXDS-Conv) with the tapered Harley slip-ons. Trying to find parts for this bike is a nightmare. Recently I have been eyeing at the Screamin' Eagle 2 baloney cut slip-ons for my bike in the catalog. However there is a slight problem. They are only made for '95 and later. My question is what is the difference between the slip-ons for the '94 than the ones in the catalog for '95 and later? Grant you I would have to change the muffler bracket, because I know it is different, but is there any other difference? Or would I just be better off going with an aftermarket pipes and be done with it? If someone can help me out with this, I would appreciate it.

I have a 98 Softtail that I would like to put a 200 series tire on. Does anyone have any recommendation for this. I have looked at the Kit that performance machine makes, but cannot come to terms with the price tag. I am looking for something in the 1000 to 2000 price range for the kit and an additional 2000 for the wheel and tire. Also I am from Oklahoma but in Afghanistan with the Army right now. I will be back in the states in Aug looking for people to ride with or rallies to go to if you have any info on either it would be greatly appreciated

I start the motorcycle up in the morning and let it warm up. When the heads are warm I start on my trip. I get about four miles and the motorcycle stops like it is out of gas. I try to start the bike and it just cranks without firing. I turn the ignition off and wait for about five to six minutes and then I try to start it again. I will start and I can run it for the rest of the day without having any other problems. I can start and stop it as many times as I like without a problem. This same problem happened everyday for a week now. Any hints from anyone will be appreciated.
