it was time to bring my grandson back home to NC. We left Friday at 10am. It is 800+ miles one way. It was jst me and him.

Unbeknownst to me it was the weekend kids were going back to college. The interstate was full of shitty careless and speeding drivers. Once on I-84 one such driver cut me off on purpose. Passed by me but before he was fully past he cut in front of me causing me to jerk the wheel hard right and hit the brakes at 70mph. Almost a full on accident. License plate said Massachusetts....well there ya go. Massholes living up yo there deserved reputation.

We drove fron 10a-5p. Decent day and time covering 400 miles the first day.At least traffic was moving. I always stay the nite down at a hotel. But drive straight home on the way back.

the next day the ride started off...

After an eventful summer, I have come the conclusion that I must chase my dream. After a lot of thought, my wife and I have decided that it is time to open a shop. For now,, it will be done on a part time basis until I get some small but very important items purchased, well maybe the items aren't so small, but they are needed.

If not now, it will never happen.

What an awsome trip. It was planned over a year ago. Didn't know who could go initially but whomever could make it was welcome. Work schedules,vacation limitations and other fun stoppers made it so only me, Karen, my daughter Kelly and 2 grandsons Joe and Aidan could go. Was hoping more could go as I could ride my motorcycle but it didn't come to fruition. Have 9 days in September for that opportunity, just don't know where to go with only 9 days?

So on Monday July 25,2016 at 8 am off we went on what turned out to be a 5023 mile jaunt thru the greatest country in the world.

Heading out we saw Dale Earnhardts Nationwide NASCAR car in the parking lot of the hotel we stayed in at...

Stinkin' manual is worthless for this (so, please don't tell me to read it AGAIN!). So, do I really have to pull the friggin starter to even get to the Speed Sensor Unit cable/assembly? My starter's bolts are ridiculously difficult to access......

Probably, but it feels better to rant about it. Think I'll have a cigar and decide if I wanna pay someone to do it for me.

Hello I have a 86 Sportster 1100 that uses a Keihin carb. And it broke at the mounting point. I've noticed the CV carb is a lot cheaper and easier to find. Is it possible to switch to the CV carb? And what would I need to make it fit and work? Thanks!
