Does anyone know where I can buy a set of 12mm compression releases for my 100" Rev-Tech rigid ??? The 100" Rev-Tech in my softail has them and starts real easy, but I'm on my second high torque starter in my rigid 100" Rev-Tech that doesn't have the releases. It's factory drill for the compression releases, but are plugged. I've tried to buy them through J&P Cycle and they're on back order for 10 months. Most of the other catalogs offer 10mm or 14mm, but no 12mm for the Rev-Tech. HELP trooper2481

All:
With all of the repeated posts on Oil, Oil coolers, Handle bars and wiring do you think it would be a good idea to create FAQ's that include posts regarding the subjects so we can refer a poster to the FAQ rathere than retype each reply again and again? If so, would you be interested in helping write some FAQ's?

So I got some new Carlini Street bars for the fatboy, and I'd really like to run the wiring through the bars, however I'm not sure how to go about doing this. The bars are already drilled for wiring, and the bars are smaller than stock, so there's plenty of wire length. Where do I start on this project? Where do I disconnect the wiring so it can be run through the bars? I have no problem getting the bars off and fishing them through, I just need to know if I disconnect the wires, or do you cut them, run them through and then reconnect? Anyone here tackled this task? Thanks.

I have a 1970 xlch and the crankcase vent tube is an open tube. When the motor is turned over air is sucked into the engine through the tube and also air blows out the tube. This can't be good because dirt is entering the motor. What is the best system to install ie
cv valve and filter. And also should the tube be connected to the carburator air intake manifold.

Has anybody out there installed a true dual header system on a dresser? Just curious if it helped/hurt/made no difference in performance or sound.
